Google Analytics Account Manager (Sweden)

If you follow my Advanced Web Metrics blog read the book, or may be even heard me present, you hopefully have a good idea of my vision, direction, drivers and passion for this industry. Although a Google-phile, I consider myself broad minded enough to recognise that Google is not the only way - I just happen to think that Google Analytics is one of those rare "breath of fresh air" products that shows up now and then. It has been responsible for moving the entire web measurement industry away from the IT and technical areas it used to support, and into the the control of marketers - where it has the greatest potential to improve a website. Its also changed me - from a IT/technical analyst person, into more of a technical marketer and business analyst. I have been a fan since discovering it in 2003 when it was called Urchin.

Role Description: To provide client management, report interpretation and business development for Google Analytics. The role will be to support and grow existing clients in Sweden. I also encourage presenting case studies at industry conferences and events, such as eMetrics, SES, SMX. This is a senior role based in either Stockholm or Helsingborg, though I would be interested in you if you feel you can grow to the next level.

Skill Range: Educated to degree level, an advanced understanding of Google Analytics reporting and capabilities is required. For example, an ability to quickly interpret data and understand what's going on, what's working and what's not. Experience in account management in this, or a similar digital role. A demonstrable flare for knowledge transfer and communication and a good inquisitive mind are a prerequisite.

You should be well organised and able to cope with a variety of different tasks and priorities, as well as demonstrating an ability for problem solving and logical thinking. Aptitude for detail and accuracy with a high level or numeracy. You should have a working knowledge of digital marketing techniques (SEO, Adwords, social search etc.) and strong MS Office skills. Minimum 3 years commercial Internet experience required.

This is a client facing role and the suitable candidate is expected to have a high standard of both written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish (verbal and written).
